Wittenberg, Germany:
9th and 10th grade English
May of 2010 I participated in Ashland University’s Germany program where 16 students and 4 professors spent 3 weeks in Wittenberg, Germany taking classes, student teaching, and touring. I observed English classes of the US-equivalent of 9th and 10th grade students at the Hunterwasschule Gymnasium, eventually teaching lessons (in English) to my German students.
The best part of this trip was the eye-opening experience of being an American International School Teacher, which has since become a life-goal, to teach for a year or two overseas.
