My assessments are split 50/50 between tests and projects. I feel that students do best when they have a choice in how they show what they know. I try to incorporate multiple intelligences, using math-and-logic, bodily-kinesthetic, visual-spatial and auditory-musical most often, but providing students with the options to explore the content using other intelligences as well.
